MM Systems is pleased to announce that Sylvia Whitmire has been promoted to Project Services Manager. This new role will include overseeing MM’s Project Management and Customer Service functions as well as retaining her role of handling several key Rep accounts.

After working in the Retail Industry for almost 15 years, Sylvia joined MM Systems in 2002 as an Assistant Project Manager. Her excellent work led to promotions in both Sales and Project Management departments. Most recently, Sylvia has been a Territory Sales Manager, responsible for many key accounts.

She finds satisfaction in facilitating the full sales cycle: from being involved in the initial quote process, to closing the order, shepherding her projects through the Engineering/Shop Drawing cycle, and finally seeing the project ship out the door.

Sylvia is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from The University of Florida. She is married to Jeff Whitmire, another key employee who works in MM Systems Engineering Department. Sylvia teaches a yoga class once a week. She looks forward to this new role and will continue to enjoy finding the balance between career, home-life and her passion of practicing and teaching yoga.
